I was watching. It seems you try and rely on Hex alot. You know even after the ailment, Shadow Ball still has more power?

Shadow Ball has 80 base power while Hex (after status ailment) will have 100. Hex will always have more base power after a status ailment.
Teams that use Hex should probably also use Toxic Spikes.
