Apparantly you dont know how to shade either the shading you did is pillow shading.
When you have multiple light source or when you simpley shade the edges and the light source is coming from the middle. When you shade you should concentrate on 1 light source.

That is not pillow shading, just the light source is in front of the character. If he had just shaded like a copy of the out line, it would be pillowed.
