It is a bit bad, but right now it is possible to get the models of that game, even stage model do work.
Weird, when I tried using NR2 on it the day it released, I got the models like you, but the UVs were ruined from what I could tell, face textures were missing or hair was incorrect... I also was reading up on another Dreamcast forum from around a year ago where a user was able to use CheatEngine to force characters into default poses for cleaner ripping (they shared an example Batsu model), but their photo examples were removed due to expiring, and they haven't responded to me in Discord.
