<-new newA'ight! I got rid of the dark lines, and it does look much more like fabric! Thanks! I also made his "hair" darker and his dark body just plain black. (like you suggested! lol) It looks better that way.
(at least, I think it is)---EDIT---
And, I made his body more "ball"ish, like an orb of shadow kinda thing. (it was supposed to look like that earlier, but... it didn't look very round)

Ok... just a little update. Also, I wanted to see the two sprites next to eachother. I made the highlights on the blue less noticeable, and fixed the blue on the cape of the first edition, like the white one.
