[x]We're back! After a failure of the drives in our database server, all data has been restored from last night's backup. The last 24 hours or so of submissions will likely need to be re-made but everything else should be okay. Please let me now if you notice anything not working as it should though. Thanks! -Petie

naruto .cpk files help!
#2
'eyo, and welcome to the Ripping Community!

Although this thread really does belong in Models Resource, we all have to fight with the .cpk files (And don't worry, I doubt anyone will blame first-timers on an incorrect thread location too badly).

Many generic .cpk files can be handled by quickBMS using this script (If it doesn't download, copy/paste the text into a Notepad file and save it as either a .txt or a .bms file) from my experiences, though there are games that just don't play nice with their .cpks due to some sort of special encoding. If it doesn't work for you, then would you mind saying which Naruto game you're ripping from?

P.S.- .cpk files are usually archive files, so you still have at least a few more formats to fight with until you get your textures and models. Sorry to rain on your parade with that one...   Defeated
