Expectations

I was aware that it was not discussion-inducing from since the start. This is why I took one year to write this post. I wrote this originally in 2015 but I felt that it wasn't a place for it. So, I kept working on it as a draft, constantly, adding things, removing things, with the possibility of losing some of the initial coherence. In other words, it might be off a little but it's purely what I think.

I figured that I should post it anyway - because it would be a shame if I never posted my point of view, and I figured that if a post isn't discussable, but can change people's points of view in real life, I think it's worth a shot.
