People, namely adults, and most specifically, older adults, who act like anyone and everyone else cannot be under the same levels of stress that they are.
A prime example is my mother. Her problems are literally the only ones that matter. People ask why I don't talk certain things out with her, and I'll clarify why right here, right now. She doesn't listen to hardly ANYONE. I tell her I'm stressed, all I get is "You don't know the meaning of stress" , or "well, do something to relieve it" . Ofc, any time I'm trying to relieve my stress, I'm immediately bound to some obligation to go help someone, and thus raise my stress and anger levels even HIGHER.
My mom will bitch about things to no end. About everyone who's wronged her, or everything that's stressing her, etc... But the moment anyone else brings-up their worries or tries to sympathize... or tries to change the subject... DEAR GOD! It is so unbelievably frustrating, and infuriating, trying to discuss really, anything, with her!
