I like certain attentions to detail on some of the sprites. For example, the inklings become squids when they duck, and apparently are squids when they swim.

Little Mac uppercuts when he jumps as well. I just wish you could also get a fire flower with an Amiibo costume, that would be awesome.

I don't dislike those details. They just don't do much for me when the sprite has thirteen colors and scrunches a 19x21 size sprite into a 16x16 grid.

The fact that they're little more then an ugly super mushroom sours the deal for me too. Let Peach float Mario 2 style! Let Bowser shoot fireballs (And actually be Bowser sized!) Let the Inklings crawl around as squids! Let Yoshi have his tongue!

The whole thing just feels tacked on in the worst way.
