General Sonic is Terrible Thread

The problem is that some people think:
"Sonic can't work in 3D"
When its really:
"Sonic has yet to work in 3D"

Sonic Generations would like to have a word with you.

While it had a very Kingdom Hearts and Katamari Universe type of feel at times, it still stood out as it's own game and was really fun.

I said it on the last page and I'll say it again.
Unleashed Day/Colors/Generations is NOT 3D Sonic. The graphics might be made out of 3D polygons but the gameplay is very much 2D.

In that case then all of Sonic's Stages in Adventure and Adventure 2 (Add Shadow to A2) must be 2D, because they pretty much play out the same as Unleashed Day and The Modern Sonic Generation stages. Except in the Unleashed Day and Modern Sonic Generations Stages, it actually has a a decent camera for those games that made the game even more playable!!!

The Sonic Adventure games weren't good, sure the Chao gardens were amazing, but after all we only grinded the levels we found fun to level them up, and the only Sonic Mechanic I ever want to see to come back is his ring dash ability, but like the camera and controls made the game harder then necessary to play, the story was also a massive joke. Shadow is at least 50 years old and dies at the end of the Adventure games. Which in the end means Shadow is the original and Sonic is not, otherwise I'm sure Gerald could have informed Ivo "hey there is this dumb blue hedgehog who is gonna be a pain in your side". Also what was the point of Shadow's death if he just keeps coming back in other games? How did Sonic Survive and Shadow not even if Shadow's powers are constantly thrown in your face as being "better"? Dr. Robotnik wanted to blow up the world since the beginning of the games and in the end saves it from being blown up. Like what? "lmao too bad about your moon guys, I shouldn't have done that OH WELL NO CONSEQUENCES FOR ME BECAUSE I DIDN'T ACTUALLY BLOW YOU GUYS UP AND HELPED SAVE EVERYONE EVEN THOUGH I FUCKED WITH YOUR OCEANS :0)" Hell, why did Gerald want to blow up the earth in the first place???? I can deal with cliffhangers or leaving a thing to a person's imagination, but if it was for that it did it totally wrong. Either give me answers or a reason to actually leave it to my imagination.

I don't want another Sonic Adventure Game. I want more Sonic games like Generations. I want a very minimal story line, only just enough of a reason to go fast. Then I just wanna go fast.

The Sonic Adventure games didn't get me to like Sonic. The Genesis Games did. Hell the Genesis games got me into gaming as a whole in the first place. The only Adventure things I'd like to see come back is Good Music, ring dash, and Chao Gardens, keep your anime storylines out of it.
