General Sonic is Terrible Thread

then again, this guy seems to be passing his opinions as a fact, so i sorta think this guy deserves what was coming to him.

if it was such a bad experiment, why would fans want a sequel to it? you seem to contradict yourself there. plus, if i am correct, i dont really hear anyone asking for a sonic lost world sequel, which was a very experimental title itself...

dont mean to beat a dead horse, but this statement here struck me as odd...

I'm sorry for all of that. I just hate it when people just satrt up a "Sonic is stupid becuse he doesn't have great games any more. DER A DER" threads. All I keep hearing now adays is "Sonic will never be good agien" and "Why can't SEGA make games like Nintendo?", and when I start playing these games, there not that bad. I liked the Warehog. The Sonic RPG was not that bad. Secret of the Rings was my favrate Wii games before I played Mario Galaxy. I love the cast of charicters. I'm not trying to pass my opinion off on any one, but just saying "This sucks" becuse it's not 100% good. To replay to BullockDS

Because Sonic Adventure totally wasn't hobbled with a terrible camera or framerate issues, and I'm sure people loved the Big segments

Mario 64 has an even worse Camra, worse control sceme, has not aged well (opinion), and I bet you Loooooooved the clock level and the cloud levels. If you count the DS remake, the control is even worse, Wario feels wasted, and the 100% reward is not as good and is on par with Sunshine's. At lest when they desided to update Sonic Adventure, they fixed a good deal of problums and added the Game Gear games.

As for Sunshine, I don't like it. The game is not fun and almost nothing works for the game. However, for whatever reason, people love this game. They love every part of it and they want a sequel to it.

I knew I was venting and I still am. My point I have been failing to make (and I know I was doing a shity job at making it) is Why do we hate Sonic so much and Love Mario, even though I can name a ton of things that Mario wrong that people love him for.
