Whoa, thanks guys for all the birthday wishes! I really appreciate it Took me a while to post here, because when your birthday falls on a Friday, it just...makes sense to celebrate the whole weekend, right?

It kinda sucks though when you've got work on 2 out of those three days, though. ):

Sooo yeah, Friday evening I went out to dinner with Cinemarella and my parents. I ate shrimp tacos. They were good. I forgot to take pictures.

Some of the things I received included

Buffalo USB Famicom Controller. This thing feels surprisingly legit despite the fact it's an eight-button controller...meaning I can actually play Super NES games with an NES controller. B) It's almost like the real thing. Except, you know - too many buttons. Yeah.

yyyyyyyyyyyyyyep. Nendoroid Luigi. I lost my shit after seeing this. I look forward to making dopey scenes with Luigi.

Two Belkin WeMo switches. I...actually can't find a good place to plug these in. Oops.
These are basically Wi-Fi powered light timers. Except I can do cool shit with them - like when I leave my house, my lights will automatically turn off with the help of my phone's GPS. Because I'm a cool secret agent guy now with my WeMo switches.

not seen at the birthday party.

I was stuffed by this time but my parents insisted I order dessert. So I did. A key lime tart, with a nice message by the staff. :]

I then went home and my intestines exploded. Cool stuff. Oh, and an old friend of mine (Woppet, if you see this - thank you!) purchased Freedom Planet for me. It's...well, furry but otherwise pretty good!!

The next day, I came home from work, and I'm waiting for Cinemarella to come over. Cinemarella said she'd be throwing a little party for the two of us, but uh - when she got to my door, she was holding so many boxes they they pretty much covered her face. She came inside and uh, wow. It was...TMNT themed.

All right - for some context, we ordered pizza from Pizza Hut for the total 8-year-old-birthday-party vibe. It's pretty shitty pizza. However, after seeing so many "special pizza instruction" blogs we decided to have some fun.

And oh my god did they deliver.

It's really obvious they googled it but still - props to them for the excellent crayon job. We gave them a tip as much as the pizza, lol.
Cinemarella's party was pretty flippin' planned out too and when I saw it all I was pretty much beside myself with giggles. It...was amazing.

She brought over the pizza, as mentioned - but she also brought Ninja Turtles plates, cups, and green utensils - and she also made glasses of lime "mutagen" Jello with a little turtle sitting on the top. She also made something else which I'll show in a minute.

Behold: shitty pizza! Contains ham, pineapples, pepperoni and jalapenos.

Given how lousy Pizza Hut is, this actually was pretty decent with the toppings and all. But the real show-stealer of the night was a...dessert pizza cookie she made. It makes Pizza Hut's cookie pizza look like a baby.

Next to one another, they actually look identical, lol.

Today, Cinemarella and I went to NYC. Nothing really HUGE, and I don't feel like posting pictures of what I bought. I'll put it in the Buy Stuff thread and the food I got in the foodie thread.

Today, I purchased
- A MadCatz Fightpad for the XBOX 360 (for use on PC - it's OK)
- Mr. Driller Ace for GBA
- Wario Land 2 for GBC (I have the original GB version, but now I have the GBC version)

And we got food once again at Broadway Bites. Tacos, agua fresca, and riceballs galore. :V
