They both seem to be a step in the right direction. It would depend on how you wanted him to look though. More relaxed I'd say go for the left, but in more of a battle stance I'd say edit the right one some more.
Here's a quick edit I made before I saw this post, as an example of meshing them together, but it looks like your on the right track now.
