Looking for a good video editing program

I'd recommend checking out Jahshaka. My dad downloaded it ages ago to see how it was but we never really used it much. However from what I can see it's got a nice range of features not unlike professional programs, and should be able to do what you want.

Unfortunately the biggest downside is the lack of official documentation, so you'll probably have to spend some time figuring out how everything works. There are some video tutorials (YouTube user linked on the download page) though so hopefully they should help you get started.

By the way, from the looks of it development is pretty much at a halt and although the website says "jahshaka 3.0*" nice and clearly, 2.0 is the latest version you can download.
