Well, place a Samus that would be best-in-style next to it, and then we can make a better comparison for it. To see if it's "in style" or not.
Otherwise, I'd recommend a little less contrast between the colors (bright needles and dark bodies) and get the whole thing at least a bit closer in colors than they currently are.
