I think what they mean by spam is the fact that within a 12 minute period (12:43 pm-12:55 pm) you made 10 posts. While they may have had some content towards the conversation, they allowed you to have exactly 20 posts (thus meeting requirements for a request). It seemed pretty obvious that the sole purpose of posting in such a short amount of time, was to fit a request (along with making a thread asking why you couldn't make a request).

Anyways, aside from that, there are some sprites from the game here that may be of use. Besides that, if you plan on resizing the sprites, you may need to either edit/ make completely new sprites, as resizing tends to change the pixels, especially when resizing smaller.
