The Vulture is just overdone, it turned me off for going that crazy with the design.

its funny because wargle is infinitely more over the top and overdone (america is stupid and war!) than the vulture

So basically a bunch of random spikes all over the body and trying to represent punk culture through being a prehistoric cave bird is not going overboard.

also fyi how is it punk inspired??? LOL. the design is representative of vultures as being motherly as well as being a predator bird. the spikes come across her belly and make it look like an apron and the bone in her "hair" is just a hair ornament, also cleverly prehistoric looking. this is all tied together by the fact that it is female only and has those big ol' eyelashes.
