My main concern is well... Think of a fanfiction were the author inserts herself into the story. I'm afraid that instead of everyone coming up with good original ideas, people will focus on too much of who they want to be in the game and boost their ego and such...

EDIT:However the Koopalings were based off the SMB3 team that designed them, however they weren't completely them. So I believe you can make Gym Leaders BASED off of members but not really be those actual members. Hm?
