Kelvin uses the same spaces between the numbers as Celsius, so both have 100 degrees of difference in the water's boiling and solidifying point (0~100ºC, 273~373K)

0 K then equals -273ºC, which is the absolute 0 (it can't go lower than that, or at least, not yet).

Fahrenheit is useful when you live in a cold place; since -18 ºC is 0 ºF, you can write the temperature without using negatives up to 18 degrees. It's also convenient because if your temperature hits three digits, you've got fever and have to rest (100 ºF equals 37ºC).

But aside from that, I don't think it's THAT useful.
