Now that he's mostly finished, I can give real crits on Bowser.
- Too many color outlines and not enough shading to separate parts.
- Eyes need to be open, not squinted.
- Shell color is too light.
- Arms, spikes, lower jaw and hair have terrible shading.
- Muzzle/belly color should be more yellowish.
- Claws on his toes are too big.
- Legs need a lot of reshaping.
- Arms and hands should be bigger.

I want to ask permission first before I do anything, but Wes... Would you be all right with me taking a crack at improving your Bowser?

As for Mario. If nobody has noticed, his nose should be further down because his head is tilted downward slightly. If you all insist on making the nose a pixel higher, the hat must to be smaller in order to compensate and maintain proportion.

Take your pick.
