This game reminds me of a puzzle I once heard

okay I'm not happy about his hat
it feels awkward to me :<
also I might continue Marco but idk how to fix up his face
his actual sprite had an awful big nose but then again it's not big enough for the style
but Layton might make more sense as a character b/c you mentioned mini side-worlds that occur at random as you travel from world to world
Layton could always occur as a random appearance and he could ask you to solve one of several puzzles for him :>
