Hi everyone,
I am new to model ripping, and I was just wondering if it is easier to rip models from PC games or from console games. I specifically have an Xbox One, and I want to know if I should start by ripping from that or from a computer game.
Thanks,
echotango

Xbox One is physically impossible to rip content from, so I think you have your answer there.
Otherwise older consoles (like N64 and PlayStation) tend to be more difficult than modern games, but PC tends to be the easiest overall.

Xbox One (and now by extension Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5) are because their games are securely encrypted, and nobody has figured out how to extract the games' contents yet. PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch were only able to be extracted because people found exploits for those systems.
oh wow, thats very interesting thanks!
The easiest should be mobile, since most games on there are developed by Unity. It's really easy to extract Unity games (just use AssetStudio).
Hey.
