[x]We're back! After a failure of the drives in our database server, all data has been restored from last night's backup. The last 24 hours or so of submissions will likely need to be re-made but everything else should be okay. Please let me now if you notice anything not working as it should though. Thanks! -Petie

.DAT files?
#1
Question
So I'm trying to use Tinke to rip sprites from a game called "Tottoko Hamtaro Nazo Nazo Q Kumonoue no ? Jou" and all I am getting is folders filled with .dat folders, and i cant find anything explaining why this is.

Am I being a dumb, and just missing something? and Need to play through the game in-order to get the sprites to show, or is this a legit thing I need to learn about?

Sometimes games will just not use conventional/well known formats and Tinke won't be able to process them. It just depends how they've been developed.

Can you upload a couple of these .dat files? Can't guarantee anything, but we can take a look and maybe help extract something from them.
You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing that we call "failure" is not the falling down, but the staying down. -Mary Pickford

Thank you, I'm glad to get any help I can! This game has some of the best Hamtaro sprites in my opinion, and seeing them not ripped is kinda sad. <xD
