[x]We're back! After a failure of the drives in our database server, all data has been restored from last night's backup. The last 24 hours or so of submissions will likely need to be re-made but everything else should be okay. Please let me now if you notice anything not working as it should though. Thanks! -Petie

Folklore .SGD_
#1
Since i finally figured out how to deal with another problem, i have something else i need some help with. Folklore's .SGD_ files are listed under sound along with a corresponding number relating to that folk. There a sound i want to rip from a certain folk but i do not understand the format. Something i noticed about the .SDG_ files is that when looking through them with notepad+ i found a string of text that said MYPACK 1.13. Any suggestions about cracking the files? I've provided a link to them.

Here is what should be the first file from c_825.sgd_

From what I can tell those .SGD_ contain headerless VAG files which I think start after all the file names. I can't seem to find a consistent way of extracting them though.
In c_825 there are names for 37 vag files, but I can only seem to find 34 so i'm not sure if i'm missing something or if it's listing a few extra sounds that aren't even there.

Thanks for the heads up (despite the fact i know nothing about this). If you do have the other sounds think you could share em? I'm looking for a specific sound file.

The exact sound i was looking for wasn't there. Either there's still some ironing out that needs to be done or it's a combination of 2 sounds.
Anyway, thanks for that.

Update.
Turns out .SGD_ is a package for .SGX.
I have no idea what it is but but it still contains the same data as .SGD_ and can be read by PSound the same. Weirder is that it spawned multiple .mcs files, which I honestly have no idea what they do.
Even stranger is that these files are incosistant. A file could list 13 .VAG files internally but gets read as having 18. Bizzare.

Big props to Thetruestruggle for finding out about .SGX files. Check out his script over at his BMS script thread.
