Do recolor count as seperate sprites?
#1
I'm ripping sprites for a level in Mr. Nutz and this level is seperated into 3 stages and each stage has the same graphics used but they are recolored. I'm not sure I should ripped these graphics just because they are recolors since I doubt anyone cares about recolors (I think). I would try to simply get a screenshot of the other levels and recolor the sprites I got with the colors of the stage but I might as well just ripped these the same way I did with the first stage.

I don't know what to think of this. Should I rip all the graphics of a game, even though they are just recolors?

and see the star called Happiness."

If they're truly recolors with no other editing, perhaps you could simply rip the recolor's palette to place beside the original's palette. That way people could color the sprites themselves with the palette if they want to.

Give a sample of the recolored version that a user can take the palette from.
