Um, okay, for those of you who know, I'm making a SSB fangame (title is still being decided).

All characters and assist trophies are going to be in Yoshi's Island style. First assist trophy I'm making is Daisy. I tried doing the style, and it looks pretty nice, though I think her face may be a bit too chubby. What do you think?
One on left is here head resized 2x, and one on the right is regular size.

Her face is pretty chubby and I'm not sure if the eyes could be tweaked.
And I believe her hair's a lighter brown, so if you fix those things up it'll probably be ok.

Okay, but it's kinda hard to make her face not look chubby, while making it not look boney either. And the eyes, I tried other things, they didn't work out too well. With her hair colors, thanks. And thanks for the critique.

No problem, what you could try though if all else fails is to start the head over again. Maybe re-angle the head in a way so that it won't look as chubby or as boney as you've tried to make them.
What you could also try is keep all your drafts in one file and then post them here. I'm sure the members here would pick the best one and show you how you could fix it to make it look perfect (unless it is but you don't realize it xD)

Okay. Speaking of choosing the best one, I made her face a little skinnier, hopefully not too skinny. Also, I posted three color options for her hair. Her origional color that I made, a little bit brighter one, and one that's more of a classic Peach's hair color. Choose which is best for hair color.

The face could be a little more skinnier, maybe by like a pixel or two.
And try to see if you could add some red in the hair, because right now the third one looks like it's a mix between Daisy's hair and Peach's hair.
EDIT: Try and see if you can make her face more round too, and not so flat. That might be the problem too.

Oh... well, yeah, make her face a little more round probably makes sense..... Thanks. And the middle one looks like a good color.

It does, but the only thing that people might not like is that the colors look dull compared with the skin, which isn't.

No problem xD

Oh... well Daisy's skin is a tad bit darker than Peach's, so wouldn't I have to fix that?

Not sure, but If you compare the hair colors of your second one to this:

they don't really compare well. So like maybe you could try to use less saturation on the hair? That might be the problem, but who knows.
