C+C and shiiittsssssss
I'm planning these to be the in-game graphics, so C+C is really important gaise.
Also I did an idle animation for Saturn in Graphics Gale, but that fucker doesn't let me save as a .gif.
YOU CAN ONLY SAVE AS A GIF IF YOU HAVE THE REGISTERED VERSHIUM
If someone wants to animate it:
each frame has respectively a delay of, in FPS:
125, 9, 9, 6, 8, 8, 5, 15, 40, 17, 5
the last two frames are the same as the first, discard those two.

The legs on both of the sprites look kind of funny to me. It seems almost like there should be some sort of border on the back of the legs. But that's just me, great sprites though. Nice work.

It's because I'm planning to have very dark backgrounds at some parts of the game, and if I add a full-outline on them, they'll look thick, and if I make both the full-outline and make it not look thick, it will look invisible in those dark backgrounds.

Oh god, this cute a style and character is asking for bouncy, smooth animations with lots of secondary animated bits (hat flaps, hair, sleeves).

Yes, that's what I'm planning to do, very smooth animations.
I should try to edit my standing animation to have some of those flaps you mentioned, it might look interesting~

The top right corner of Saturn's head seems to animate a bit strangely, in my opinion.

You're sliding the head parts up and down, aren't you? But are you sliding them left and right? It helps with the illusion. But you need to edit it heavily.

the style you had with that big pa a while ago was 10x better imo. this is still nice though.

it's impossible to use these many details and colors in a small sprite
and I wasn't nailing the Knuckles Chaotix/Ristar/Astal style, so I did something more anime-like, simple and illustrative, and matches with the exaggerated animations I'm planning to do for his attacks.
