Started this two days ago to try to get back into spriting. Obviously this is taking me too long to do, and the results are less than spectacular so I could use some C+C.
One thing I'm having a bit of trouble with is the arms and palette, suggestions? Any other things like shading flaws etc, and how to fix them are welcome.
C+C?

Oh man I love the colors.
A bit more contrast wouldn't hurt though (serious).

I personally like the first one better, both palette and shape. The outline is too thick under its right (our left) foot though but I'm sure that was a little messup. The "head" could also use a bit more roundening as there are some straight lines that could be shorter.
