I was planning to do this with Naruto characters in MvC2 style. As in, I was already searching references for Kakashi.

The shading on the inside of his right thigh, and the inside of his left shin could do with being a smoother curve (the shading on the other two sprites have curves in the shading so defined and smooth they're probably comp-generated, how the hell do you compete with that D=).
