RE: 'Pokemon Endless Adventure' - JoshR691 - 02-12-2011

@ A.J. Nitro: I agree that he looks a little big, but the Pokedex size has him listed as 3'07" ...For most sheets, I use an older Pokemon to measure to get a decent size (Most of the time, it's the 1'04" Pokemon Mew) for Butterfree, I used Charmander (I figured that I'd get a better Measurement out of a Pokemon who's legs aren't always drooping down, making him appear bigger) 2 Charmander would be 4 ft., so I took 1 1/2 Charmander (3 ft.) and used that...Butterfree's only 3 Pixels over 3ft. Which I guess would mean he's too short, but he still looks pretty big, but as Lloyd_irving_1 pointed out, Butterfree is still in proportion...Yes, Butterfree's a sign of me trying to get back to being more accurate with their size (but I will keep some of them as 'General Sizes'...Mostly smaller Pokemon)...*blahblahblahnot-so-technical-babbleblahblahblah*

I might actually make Butterfree's wings a bit smaller, but I'm not so sure since he's actually in proportion...

Sorry that came out kind of long...

@ kaleb90: Be Patient, I'm currently remaking Pokemon, and there's only a few more Pokemon I have to make on my Planned list (all of which happen to be from the Second Generation...) When that list is finished, I'll create a new list with a mix from all generations, and I'll be sure to have at least a few First Generation Pokemon on the list...That said, the Remake list (which is still pretty large) has some priority right now, and I really want to finish a few before I get back to new-to-the-project Pokemon (I want to get Beedrill out of the way before I get back to new Pokemon)

Lately, I've been thinking about making the Trainers a little bigger...I know, I haven't touched the Trainers in a while, and I'm content with the current look of Red and Gold (the only ones I've actually remade)...Going by the 'Charmander Method,' for the Trainers to be in proportion, they would have to be at least 11 (at first, I might shoot for 5 or 6) Pixels Taller (assuming they're 4 ft. tall) The good thing about this would be that more detail would be able to appear clearer on the Trainers, and I would finally get around to updating the Female Trainers...the bad news is the time it would take to create a new base (for the Hero Trainers), and starting the Trainers over again...Your Thoughts/Concerns?

Beedrill's done:

Now to finally get back to new Pokemon

RE: 'Pokemon Endless Adventure' - A.J. Nitro - 02-15-2011

Beedrill looks perfect. That's about the size Butterfree should be.

Politoed is finished:

I also decided to go through with making a new Trainer Base:

I have to say, I really like how Red came out

...Next up is a Pokemon who has great Defenses, but has really poor stats in everything else

RE: 'Pokemon Endless Adventure' - A.J. Nitro - 02-18-2011

- Politoed is great, but where are his physical moves animation?
- New Trainer base is also great, but my only complaint is his arm in the frames right before and after he throws the ball. They kinda look all noodle-y.
- Next is Shuckle.

RE: 'Pokemon Endless Adventure' - JoshR691 - 02-18-2011

- I forgot that he learns three slap moves, so I'll add that
- I'm trying to fix that right now (You basically mean make the Elbow more noticeable, right?)
-Shuckle is Correct!

Yes, also the arm of the 2nd last frame looks really thin.

Added Politoed's Attack and fixed Red (I think...) :

The elbow is better, but something still doesn't look right. Can you make a gif of the throwing animation so I can see what it looks like?

RE: 'Pokemon Endless Adventure' - JoshR691 - 02-18-2011

Sure thing:

RE: 'Pokemon Endless Adventure' - A.J. Nitro - 02-18-2011

I suppose I can let that pass now.

RE: 'Pokemon Endless Adventure' - JoshR691 - 02-18-2011

Well, if you're able to pinpoint what's wrong, feel free to bring it up

RE: 'Pokemon Endless Adventure' - A.J. Nitro - 02-18-2011

It's just the 2nd last frame when he sticks his arm out. I'm trying to think if that's natural or not.

RE: 'Pokemon Endless Adventure' - JoshR691 - 02-20-2011

Shuckle's Done:

Next up is a Pokemon who is the only Pokemon to have the Steel/Flying type Combination (This one's really obvious)

RE: 'Pokemon Endless Adventure' - A.J. Nitro - 02-20-2011

Skarmory!
