Edit:
Nevermind.
I think its Manky's evolve form or I could be wrong.

RE: 'Pokemon World' - JoshR691 - 03-11-2010

Correct! Mankey's up Next!

Primeape will eventually come

I'm waiting for more trainer sprites...specifically Cyrus and the Team Galaxy (Or is it Galactic? I forgot.) They're my favorite team, Team Magma in close second and Team Rocket the third.
Excellent work on these so far. Keep up the good work, and if possible, let me know when you get around to Team Galaxy.

Hey uh, looking back at Gible. Did you give him a biting attack?

RE: 'Pokemon World' - Mallacxo - 03-11-2010

I like Team Rocket, because they got new members in the HeartGold and SoulSilver games.
Oh and I'm excited for Mankey.

I was originally going to, but he doesn't have one biting attack in his Movepool...Not even in the Egg moves or Move Tutors! The Closest thing he has to a Bite is Headbutt & Iron Head, and that's a bit of a stretch

Otherwise, he'd definitley have one (I'd prefer it over the Slash, but he has a lot of 'Claw' moves)

The Big question is, 'why does Gible have such a big mouth, and no Biting attacks?'

RE: 'Pokemon World' - A.J. Nitro - 03-11-2010

Never mind then. Just remember that for the future.

RE: 'Pokemon World' - JoshR691 - 03-11-2010

I know, I've done stuff like that in the past, like how Cubone Also has an animation for Bonemerang or how Squirtle has Withdraw & Rapid Spin, etc...

RE: 'Pokemon World' - Cshad - 03-11-2010

Gible looks flat

Have you ever considered to, you know, shade them in your own style rather than a smaller version of D/P/Pt?

RE: 'Pokemon World' - Video_Pochi - 03-11-2010

I think its weird in the anime that Satoshi's Gible loves to bite things like Satoshi's head. I agree thats weird how it can't learn any bite attacks ironic isn't it.

Funny story about Gible, since you bring up that he looks flat...I originally had the Fin shaded Darker to show that it was flat, and the fin isn't really as wide as the rest of the head...The almost ironic part is I changed it because I thought someone would complain about it...

Also, he's probably kind of flat because I only used two references, which is my own fault because both references (the Sprite & the Artwork) are at a similar Angle If I had a Reference that's at a Different Angle (like the Shadows of Almia Artwork for Gible) I could've seen more of how I would shade it

In short (too late) I'm fixing that now, going back to how I originally had it shaded (Dark fin to differentiate it) and I'll change the head up a little bit, and probably get rid of the dithering, which I have to say I rarely use anyway

Edit: Fixed:

Thats much better!

RE: 'Pokemon World' - JoshR691 - 03-13-2010

Finished making Mankey:

The only notable thing about the next Pokemon is that it has the Dual Type of Water/Flying...It's Evolution plays a decent sized part in the Mystery Dungeon series...
