RE: 'Pokemon World' - JoshR691 - 06-16-2009

Well, if Cshad meant a mix of Speed and Stretching, I think I've got it with this animation:

Keep in mind that he'd be jumping forward, higher, and bouncing off of the other Pokemon...Also keep in mind, that if the Project ever becomes a 'real game', all/most Pokemon will stretch, like it does in the actual Pokemon games (at least like in D/P/Pl)...

RE: 'Pokemon World' - JoshR691 - 06-17-2009

Sorry to Double Post, but I decided to start adding idle animations to my sheets:

[Image: tag012.png][Image: tag013.png][Image: tag052.png][Image: tag022.png][Image: tag01.png]
[Image: tag09.png][Image: tag035.png][Image: tag153.png][Image: tag021.png][Image: tag142.png]

And I'm going in Numerical order...and I'm not doing them for the Pokemon that I'm going to eventually remake(because they will be added when I remake them) or Pokemon that fly in place

Expect that Section of the first post to be filled for...I'd say the next month(or however long it actually takes me to add those animations)

RE: 'Pokemon World' - Ravecat - 06-17-2009

Shit yeah.

Totally gonna make myself in this style. (H)

RE: 'Pokemon World' - JoshR691 - 06-17-2009

Go right ahead, haha

The rest of the first Generation now have idles (again, not counting ones I'm going to remake, and ones that just fly in place):

RE: 'Pokemon World' - A.J. Nitro - 06-17-2009

I love how you make Pidgey just stand instead of flying on the spot. Be sure to keep it like that for the other flying types. Just a few things though:
- Pikachu should have an idle for his balloons and while surfing, if possible that is.
- Vaporeon should have 1 more frame in its idle.
- And I don't get how Mew has changed.

RE: 'Pokemon World' - JoshR691 - 06-17-2009

Ah, I can answer all 3 of those
-Pikachu should have another pose while airborne, since it's a 2 Turn Attack(Fixed), but Surf comes & goes...
-I'll add another pose now (Fixed)
-And Mew got an Idle, the 'Run' frames are now his Physical Attack (They were before, but they were on the sheet twice, so I just switched the 'First Row Run' with the new Idle)

Also, a few flying types will remain airborne at all times, but not as many as in the Console games

Edit: Added a few More Idles:

I'll finish the Second and third Generations tomorrow, and then probably the Fourth on Friday

RE: 'Pokemon World' - Dazz - 06-18-2009

Hey JoshR, I've updated all the sheets, but they won't appear in the next update since they aren't that large of additions. But the new sheets will Smile

RE: 'Pokemon World' - JoshR691 - 06-18-2009

alright, I kind of figured you would do that the whole time...I do have a request...could you take down the Misty and Brock Sheets? Those backgrounds aren't going to be used, and I'm going to put all of the Kanto Gym Leaders on one sheet (same goes for the other 3 Regions, but they weren't made yet)

I also gave a few More Pokemon Idles:

[Image: tag152.png][Image: tag017.png][Image: tag041.png][Image: tag147.png]

Expect a whole lot more of these before I even remake some of the Pokemon in between them

RE: 'Pokemon World' - A.J. Nitro - 06-18-2009

Are these idles based on the 3D Pokemon games?

RE: 'Pokemon World' - JoshR691 - 06-18-2009

Kind of, but at the same time, not all of them are...a few of them are just how I see them moving, while others are based off of Battle Revolutions

Here's a few more:

[Image: tag085.png][Image: tag113.png][Image: tag149.png]

I'll finish the rest of the Pokemon before Monday, so on Monday, expect Umbreon and Leafeon to be remade (and then the Eevees are finally all done)

Pokemon Stadium (despite being outdated) is a very good example of force, try looking at those if you need a specific example. There are alot of videos on youtube about those, speed and stretching wasn't really what I meant

RE: 'Pokemon World' - JoshR691 - 06-18-2009

Cshad, I've got to be honest, I've watched that video you posted a while ago (Starts out with Nidoking Vs. Tauros) at least 10 times, and I can't see what you mean...I mean, I'm barring the effects, since those will eventually be made, and I'm 90% sure you didn't mean those

Battle Revolution is probably a better example, but that's what I've been using to come up with the animations...

RE: 'Pokemon World' - XDKyleHU - 06-18-2009
