RE: 'Pokemon World' - JoshR691 - 06-14-2009

Gyarados is finally finished...So far, out of all 3 Segmented Pokemon I've made, Gyarados is the Pokemon with the most Segments...Which is odd, since he's supposed to be smaller than both Onix & Steelix:

Wow, no wonder it's been two days.

And might I ask, what's the difference between the 2 rows below the hurt poses?

RE: 'Pokemon World' - JoshR691 - 06-14-2009

Top one is his Physical Attack, Bottom is Special Attack...Special Attack kind of charges up a little bit

RE: 'Pokemon World' - A.J. Nitro - 06-14-2009

Because I'm curious, could you animate both?

RE: 'Pokemon World' - JoshR691 - 06-14-2009

Sure, here ya go:

Also, I decided to update Mew's Special Attack, since I thought the old one looked like it was getting Hurt...This one's the same Basic animation, just with a new head to make it more like the 3D Games (Turns it's head, then Attacks, rather than sticking it's head straight up):

Wicked as always - I love how Pokémon like Garados and Onix are made up of balls - they're the most lazy designs ever... The only redeeming thing for Garados is the implementing of spikey fins and a strange head.

Ok, those animations have convinced me, and new Mew is good, too.

RE: 'Pokemon World' - Omegakyogre - 06-15-2009

Still loving -all- of these.

RE: 'Pokemon World' - JoshR691 - 06-15-2009

Decided to remake Horsea:

Expect a few more remakes of Water types, Starting with Marill

Edit: Marill's Remade:

Edit2: Fixed Marill's Sp. Att. so his arms move

RE: 'Pokemon World' - A.J. Nitro - 06-15-2009

Both are good now.

RE: 'Pokemon World' - Shroob2 - 06-15-2009

I don't get what Marill is doing for his Physical Attack. :/

RE: 'Pokemon World' - JoshR691 - 06-15-2009

It Bends down, and Jumps at his opponent:

and if you thought the Special Attack was the Physical, I figured I'd add a few more poses, since it probably wouldn't stay still while it's attacking:

RE: 'Pokemon World' - Cshad - 06-15-2009

The jump doesn't really have any force behind it, and marill has the ability huge power, so it kinda should
I think you need to pay attention to what is and isn't moving in your animations, somethings are completely static and it looks odd

Well, I got around to fixing the arms (they move now, just not in that animation) but onto the Attack animation...If you're just talking about the animated version, that was just a test to see if it runs smoothly(also used it as an example)...

I know this sounds kind of dumb, but what exactly do you mean by 'Force'? Don't get me wrong, I know what force is, but do you mean the speed of the jump, or do you just want it to be a more 'Dynamic' pose(with stuff like stretching, etc...) maybe it's just hard to put into words, but could you show me what you mean with an animation?(could be of anything, doesn't really have to pertain to Pokemon, just something so I could really 'get' what you mean)

RE: 'Pokemon World' - Dazz - 06-16-2009

Cool stuff! Big Grin
Also, I think it's the animation speed that makes it seem to have no force, and the fact there's no movement.
