Yeah, even though the face is energetic, the body doesn't flow with the head, which it should convey what he's up to. The reason why this works for the characers like TF2's Spy as he's supposed to be slick, while Kakeru (calling him that to avoid confusion with those OTHER Spikes) is an energetic little kid protagonist, and they usullay don't sit still very long, unless it's mission briefing.

Worst Pok'emon they ever made. Absurdly overrated and people only like it because it was the Pok'emon in the anime. It's so trimmed for cuteness it makes me want to puke.
