I love that Cortez, but the shading just above the nose bugs me for some reason. Idk, maybne it's just me.

Hmm... that shadow is wrong. The shadows we ripped from m&l3 are wrong, because the emulator doesn't show them properly, so it should be a shadow with one colour only.
Anyway, it's awesome, can't wait to see more =D

As for the star in the chest, I don't think it's such a big deal to have it. Maybe you could have something that can be pasted over it if people don't want him to have it?
Cortez is awesome as well. Is his hat turned toward the "camera" like that or does it face the front of his head?
As for the shading on Cortez's nose, I'd say leave it. I don't think it'd look good without it.

I played the game in my DS, and the shadows weren't like that.

Oh I almost forgot to say...for those wanting a tutorial on this style, I'll make it after this duel.
It'll tell you what the color limit is(31), how to shade, and what not.

Hm... Well, not that I don't believe you Mageker, but I need to make sure myself before I change it. I'll check it on the game a little later.
Anyhow, I'll try to get more done today. Maybe an overworld/front battle pose or the weapons, idk yet.

I'm suprised I was even able to do this today. Decided to redo the in battle and not be lazy with it(I was really tired that night). Just give me your C+C on the WIP of it.If there's anything wrong, I'd like to fix it before I go any more into it. I fixed the feet in both in battle and overworld. The front part of his shoes is square like.

The hand holding the hammer seems smaller out of proportion to the oveworld's hands, where they are a little bigger than the star.

It doesn't look right having them parallel.
