Yes, it was Lloyd =3. somehow i cant remember that..

RE: Fantasy Smash Project - Kairos - 10-07-2008

Yeah, I'm working on him. He's top priority.

RE: Fantasy Smash Project - Timothy Dallas - 10-08-2008

Er, hey, been following this for a while in the shadows as a guest and I've wanted to have a go at a character for this for ages, so here goes...

I don't think Marx gets enough love. I'm not sure whether it's particularly in style or not, so any help appreciated before I get to some proper animation. Same goes with a moveset - I have ideas but none are particularly good as I'm trying to avoid using Marx's attacks from the battle in Superstar as I reckon they'd be better as Final Smash moves.

Crits please, first sprite in a long time.

RE: Fantasy Smash Project - Kairos - 10-08-2008

Honestly, I was gonna sprite Marx as a Boss. Not a playable character. His normal form has no real moves, and if his final form was playable, it'd be to cheap. I'd think you'd agree he'd be better as a boss.

Though, if you REALLY want to sprite him as a Playable Character, I won't stop you.

But, other than that, the only problem I see is his hat is too short.

I'd rather have Marx as a playable character than Shyguy. Please just make him an AT.

Oh, and Marx should just be a boss.

Edit: I worked on the fairy thing. I think its called a Monk in a strategy guide. Could somebody help me with hair, and shading the brown parts and the body. The body is metalic. [Image: dreamweaverskr9.png]

It would be stupid to put in a Goomba, unless you make up a ton of weird moves for it to make sense. A shyguy is more diverse so it has more reasons to be put in.

In other words, I'm still making Shyguy. I'm the one that will be sheeting him. What the hell does it matter to you?

Yeah, I reckon you're right. For starters he has no arms, although his hat could sub if I somehow did it right... anyway, might do a playable normal Marx as a side-project and a boss Marx as a main one. Who knows, a standard Marx might just work out... Tongue

Did I manage to get the style right then?

Looks good to be, but his hat seems to small to me, but other than that it looks great.

also I think I might have a good moveset, so here:

B neutral - Marx Spin (spins in one spot like a spinning-top)

B Left/Right - Ball bounce (he appears on top of that ball of his and goes in one direction until you press it again, such as Jigglypuff and Sonic's attacks, but you can stop)

B Up - Marx Bounce (He bouces off one ball for recovery)

B Down - Marx Stomp (Like a Mario ground pound or like Kirby's Down B)

Final Smash - True Form (Marx turns into the BIGGER Marx and he goes to one side and shoots stars? or whatever he shoots out at the opponents, similiar to Mario's final smash and like Staryu's attack)

CC and you can change it, just a quickie

RE: Fantasy Smash Project - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 10-09-2008

And when he recovers, a ball actually appears as a usable item. I think that's nice.

And yeah, I don't get all this flak about shyguy. People will sprite what they want to sprite. O_O

RE: Fantasy Smash Project - Owlthief - 10-09-2008

I think he should still sprite sshyguy. hes a favorite. (shyguy, that is Defeated")

RE: Fantasy Smash Project - Owlthief - 10-09-2008

Alright, whos for Cleru from Summon Night?

RE: Fantasy Smash Project - Kairos - 10-09-2008

I'd much prefer Edgar, but awesome job.

RE: Fantasy Smash Project - Owlthief - 10-09-2008

i think i should do Edgar. Thanks for the compliment |=]. Also, I like the sprites for summon night, but ive never played it, so I may need help with a move list D=
another thing. they dont have anything other than edgars OWs on tSr =\

RE: Fantasy Smash Project - HyperSonic92 - 10-09-2008

Does anyone have a copy of TriggerX's Geno sheet (if so Photobucket it)? I plan on continuing it. I have a good moveset planned out too.

RE: Fantasy Smash Project - killme - 10-09-2008
