RE: Maple Story - Mageker - 03-23-2009

Weird... they might have updated it... I don't know...

RE: Maple Story - Boo - 03-23-2009

I got it from a different version of Japan Ms, but now it seems to be bigger? Maybe it updated or something.. the bigger version seems to be correct though..

Still, I would like it if we had both versions on tSR. For completeness' sake, ya know?

RE: Maple Story - Mageker - 03-23-2009

I'd like to keep the smaller version too... I think we can have both versions, because some ppl might prefer the small one (as me).

EDIT: What RTB said.

Ok, I will send them to you in a bit.

Edit: Yeah, how do you want me to send them to you Rtb?

Edit 2: Lol, ok I uploaded to Mediafire. Heres the link.

RE: Maple Story - Carpaccio - 03-23-2009

Argh. I want the extracted files so much blast it...

You guys are doing a delightfully awesome job at this though.

RE: Maple Story - Random Talking Bush - 03-23-2009

Thank you, Boo! After I fix up Kino, I've got... 23 sheets left to fix, then I'll submit the second batch of corrected sprite sheets.

RE: Maple Story - Boo - 03-23-2009

No problem, and thats fantastic. Can't wait to see them all complete. Tongue

RE: Maple Story - Random Talking Bush - 03-24-2009

Mageker? Could you send me the "dead" animation for the Red Eggy Popp, so I can give the sprites the proper transparencies? I can't seem to find them in any of the Mob.wz files I have... After that, I've got 4 more sheets left to fix up. (Dodo, Geno, Kino, and Pink Been)

And I've decided not to fix up the following five sheets, because they're most likely going to have to be re-ripped anyway, as there's a lot more of them now.

- Consumable Items
- Interactive Objects
- Name Tags
- Projectile Items
- Single Pose NPCs

(EDIT: Oh, and Boo? Which ID number was Geno again? I know I saw him there somewhere, but I don't remember where.)

RE: Maple Story - Mageker - 03-24-2009

Here is it. It appears in Europe Mob.wz.

RE: Maple Story - Carpaccio - 03-24-2009

All right folks. I need some help extracting the files from the .wz files. Can someone please educate me on it? I want to help out but I can't figure anything out. I found something online that goes with python to do it, but I absolutely suck when it comes to python. I can't even get it to work properly, so could someone fill me in on extraction details so I can do some work with these?

RE: Maple Story - Mageker - 03-24-2009

Well, first, you have to download MapleDump (v3.0 is the best one). Then you just need to open the .wz files with MapleDump and start extracting... if you need a download link I can give it to you.

EDIT: Python is not needed for anything that I know... :/

RE: Maple Story - Random Talking Bush - 03-24-2009

Basically what Mageker said. However, the latest Global MapleStory seems to give you gibberish file names if you try to open it up in MapleDump / Adventure Island. I found out a way to work around that, though, but it takes longer to extract the images.

And thanks for the sprites, Mageker, even though I only needed the death animation for it. Tongue

RE: Maple Story - Mageker - 03-24-2009

Oh, no problem. Also, please, tell me how to extract those files D=
I want Crimsonwood Monsters so badly D=

RE: Maple Story - Random Talking Bush - 03-24-2009

WZExtract. It worked perfectly fine for me, as I was able to get the sprites of the White Duck from it (which I'll be sheeting along with a few more exclusive pets).
