I'm not done yet, still have a fair amount of random animation left. Mostly just taking damage and using items.
Aslo, I should probably fix up the octopus a bit.

Yeah with this flashy-er more cartoony style I wasn't sure what to do with the outline; having a single dark or light pixel outline seems out of style to me.

O_owell i was gonna do him with the one out line it looked too melee so i added the black out line i think it looks a bit better try making yours with only one shade of gray and a black outline
