I animated it in Multimedia Fusion 2. Looks pretty ugly. Seems like all you did was move the arms back and forth, and it looks way too tweened and unnatural.

I'm gonna go with number one. The fourth is just way too bright. The fireballs in Mario games do usually have a strong orange-ish outline.
