I'm Alex and I like to make gaem. I usually work in Unreal Engine et. al. but I wanna learn some more 2D and retro stuff, so this seems like the place to be: ROM chicanery, asset ripping, etc.
As of writing: working on a clone of SMW to learn A) some more low-level details of network movement replication and prediction, B) Monogame in general, and C) some surface-level emulation stuff about the SNES. You could imagine how being here would be helpful for that.
