Crystal Story Protags in Final Fantasy PSP style. - JacquIreBriggs - 10-29-2023
Hi. Originally, I created this account to browse stuff, but after playing various Final Fantasy PSP games, I got inspired to create PSP styled sprites of all Crystal Story party members! Helps much that Crystal Story II will turn ten years soon! I also planned to create a Crystal Story fangame! I'm like its biggest fan, I even extracted assets from the game for silly skits!
This is first time I'm spriting since I was a young child. So, I'm not used to the shading on the sprites. Any criticism is okay.
This is what I have so far... (Can you tell D is my fav?)

Now with Full set of D battle and overworlds. Minus the magic casting which I haven't decided the pose yet.

Mari. I think the hardest part of the spriting is going back and fix the shading. The hair is the most detailed. How many colors does it have.
The clothes are the worst. What direction are they going?

Just like that all Crystal Story II party members are finished for now.
Now for the party members of the first game. Are there any FF4 character wearing casual clothes? I mean just a shirt and a pants. No armor whatsoever lol.
The game I'm creating is going to get spectacular.

Man Haven't updated for a while. But thankfully, I cooked up a fresh batch of sprites.
Including item use and/or victory pose. Tristam and Kaeli Defend.

Update: All sprites sheet in each post should now be included in the posts themselves and not just under attachments.
Now if only there is a way to make them bigger without using external resources.
