Trying to rip game that ONLY launches through Steam launcher - viex7 - 07-31-2023
Hi, new here, made an account because I'm trying to rip from a game called Elminage Original (specifically the PC port because it has good quality sprites) using ninjaripper.
I remember hearing ninjaripper could rip from steam games, but it hasn't worked with this. I've tried running it normally, which hasn't worked, and I've tried running it from Steam with a wrapper, which hasn't worked either. I've tried it with steam running and not running, neither has worked, and I've looked on GOG for a version without DRM. There isn't a GOG version, which is strange, because Elminage Gothic (which Original and Gothic are both on Steam) is on GOG.
Is there anything I can do at all?

If you have the game installed on your PC you should be able to look at its files.

That's true, and it's the only other alternative I can see with this, but the files are a bunch of .bin files and I don't know what I should do to try and extract the sprites from those.
