png collor texture inst right.. - agnos - 01-16-2023

can someone plz help me? Im trying to rip "heir of light" apk... I took animations, mesh and textures with AssetStudio, but textures png's are comming dark... I dont know how to fix them...

The texture is not dark, the alpha channel [transparency/opacity] is being used to store another texture map.

Here is the texture with the alpha removed [on the left] and the alpha channel by itself [on the right].

ty so much for the reply, Iver read about this from other foruns posts, but for me is like satying the same... I dont know how to do this, or use on blender, even with alphas, wheres all that golden parts the original models show? how could I fix this too plz?

In Blender you can set the texture's alpha to "Channel Packed" so that the alpha channel doesn't affect the colors.

You can use the alpha channel by itself by using the "Alpha" output on the image texture node.

I cannot tell you why the gold isn't there because I am not familiar with this game's textures. If you can send me the model and any other textures I may be able to figure it out.

ty! I've sent u on PM the files, just now I've remenbered Ive saved in jpeg and didnt get that alpha thing... to truth is.. I was going to use the texture to displacement....
