Can someone convert these files? - prvqx - 11-11-2021

I have a few files I cant normally convert into the file type I want.
I ripped a model and a few animations but I require them to be in .FBX format.

.zip   Crab.zip (Size: 214.11 KB / Downloads: 82)

This is the crab from Mario Odyssey, this includes all the animations it has including the model.
I would appreciate it if someone could convert this in .fbx so I can use it in Blender.  Smile

And... done.

.zip   Crab.zip (Size: 328.04 KB / Downloads: 82)

Well if it isn't DogToon64. All jokes aside, thanks for the help!
You didn't convert the animations I sent though.

PS: Can you teach me how to do it?

RE: Can someone convert these files? - DogToon64 - 11-11-2021

I usually don't rip animations, BUT just this one time, here's the animations (I think I converted them to a usable format Tongue):

.zip   animations.zip (Size: 48.4 KB / Downloads: 79)

Anyways, to rip models and animations from Super Mario Odyssey (as well as Wii U games and other Switch games that use the BFRES format), all you need is Switch Toolbox, and use it to open the BFRES file. The rest should be pretty easy to figure out, and I hope this helps!

RE: Can someone convert these files? - prvqx - 11-11-2021

The point is, I do use switch toolbox, but what I'm asking is how to export them to .fbx.
The animations also do not work with the crab rip you converted.

RE: Can someone convert these files? - DogToon64 - 11-11-2021

You can't. It can only export models as a DAE file or a BFMDL file. If you want an FBX file, then you'll have to export it as an FBX file in something like Blender or Noesis.

EDIT: Just seen your edit. Sorry about that, I don't rip animations so I didn't know if they would work or not. Blank
