MelonDS .dump files Blender export. - HotSnot67 - 06-27-2021

So I'm finally starting to rip Nintendo DS models thanks to MelonDS with a MelonRipper function that makes it rip everything captured on screen. However, this is more of a "halfway point" from what I wanted to rip. Using Blender 2.92 & a script that allows the import of the .dump files that contain the models, textures, and everything that was taken on screen, at first i thought it was easy, however, it turns out, no matter what I select to remove, everything gets deleted. I need some kind of guideline or instructions to help with exporting certain models. I will leave a link for the .dump files I did, & the Blender script should anyone decide to help me out.

Not sure what you're asking. If you want to delete stuff, go into edit mode, and delete the faces you don't want. You can select all faces with a specific material to speed it up.

You won't be able to export any of the materials to .dae though: the material graphs aren't setup in a way that's compatible with the .dae exporter.

You don't understand. This is not like 3D Ripper DX or Ninja Ripper. Even if I do highlight some specific stuff I don't want, everything still gets deleted, meaning everything is connected.

press tab, select the parts you want to delete and delete them, it's that simple

I figured it all out a long time ago. No need to continue with this.
