Some of my custom Sega Mega Drive/Genesis backgrounds & pixel art - Shin FireyPaperMario - 06-13-2021

Back when I was a community member of a once "Good"  Mario fan game (Which remains nameless, because fuck them!) way before the whole community started to go way down hill, I used to make some custom SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis graphics and sprites. And I felt like sharing some of the custom backgrounds/pixel art I once use for that shit fan game. I have only 2 custom backgrounds to share to start up this thread, so here they are:
  • A SEGA Mega Drive redesign of the underground level background from Super Mario Bros. 1 (All-Stars Ver):

  • And finally, a original background creation, a blocky emerald castle level background (With some Sonic 1 level elements in it):

Sheesh, I haven't touch this thread in almost 29 months. So here's a set of custom 16-bit Sega Mega Drive/Genesis style wood tiles from Super Mario Bros. 3 to make up for the lack of more Mega Drive style sprite art... God I hate my busy irl schedule. >->;

My life is nothing more than a freaking pipe dream. A pipe dream with warp pipes from not just Super Mario Bros. 3, but from Super Mario Bros. 1/Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels, Super Mario World, Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, and now after nearly a hour of replicating the game's pipes in the 16-bit Mega Drive style, Yoshi's Island*.
