SMITE Texture Ripping Assistance Needed - akuago220 - 06-30-2020

So ever since SMITE updated its files to put its HD textures into .tfc files, seems the UE Viewer doesn't want to extract the textures properly from the .upk files of the Gods' assets (they usually pop out in 64 x 64 instead of their original resolution)

The issue also seems to be across Hi-Rez's whole suite (i.e. Paladins), but I mainly want to get some of the newer gods in their entirety ripped. At least the models are still intact, rig and all, but getting intact textures has been a week-long pain and I'm out of options.

So yeah, gonna need help fixing this issue since every other Smite-related thread around the net is long obsolete.

Thanks in advance.

Gildor said that it uses a custom tfc system so he won't add support for it in umodel. But aluigi uploaded a quickbms script that "should" extract it but from my own tests doesn't do so properly.

https://www.gildor.org/smf/index.php/topic,6934.15.html

If you need the script you can go on aluigi fourms or here https://mega.nz/file/XRkGhKRL#agqWFqnW9lLha_qicZ3j5ZA5KtNB0IEDbrbr34O2evM

If you do get it work can you rip Artemis' skins?

The script worked, but the files are raw, and so far one of the only recommended converters made the textures look like something out of a printer on low ink.

Did you try rawtex? If you send me the file I can try some of the converters I have.

Attached a few to this comment. Good luck, and let me know what config in Rawtex you used for a clear conversion.

Alright, the textures you provided are of Amaterasu right? Anyways the texture formats vary a bit. I did a bit of testing and I think it's  bc3 through r8. The only texture that I managed to extract properly was 1255 using BC3_unorm.

Sorry about the delay, finally got some free time again. I just followed the steps on the website and managed to rip some models and textures. Just follow the guide on the zenhax fourms here: (https://www.zenhax.com/viewtopic.php?t=13261).
