Depends on console and game. Either take screenshots in emulators or dig into the game files.

marvelous: Mōhitotsu no Takarajima trying to rip that using the second method but having a hard time figuring it out
i want to do it that way cause snapshots dont really capture every thing the game actually has

f your trying to rip steam, pc/ android games ,and, visual novels these two programs are the best for sprite ripping.
