Um.... I don't know where to begin with this to help you, but you may want to define a shape for the character as it's pretty basic and looks more like an Atari sprite than anything else. Try looking at a reference and making the sprite moreover resemble the character. Once you do that, I can give better critique and help you get better at it.

I have new sprites. They're just duke nukes colored green. I could add a bit more I'm thinking but what? Should I add the bandana that's on his arm? Or change his eye color? Or even try to make a new sprite. (Hard no on the last one. I just bad at sprites.) I need help. Also here is the sprite.

Update: Here is the new sprite. I've made it so that he has brown eyes, and the bandana. here it is.
