Ripping models from Mobile Games? - flipdark95 - 09-16-2018

Hey there, how can I start ripping models from games such as Heroes of Dragon Age and Star Wars Force Arena? There's some models that have been ripped for HODA in XNALARA format, and Force Arena has ripped models in a thread on facepunch, but I'm asking about what programs were used to get these models.

I know that since most mobile games are made using Unity, that Unity Studio can read the files and extract them, but I can't seem to find a program or app that fully extracts the APKs for these games in a way that lets me extract their files. Anyone know what to do?

APK files can be opened in common archive programs like WinRAR and 7zip. If you can't find the models you're looking for in the APK file, it's possible they're not contained within it. Some game APKs are only a basic installer, and need to download the rest of the game data the first time they're run. In this case, the only way you can get the data is to install and run the game on an Android device, let it download the data, figure out where it's stored, and copy it to your computer. I'm not familiar with either of the games you mentioned, so I don't know if this is how they in particular operate.
