Ever Oasis GAR Files and Bin Files? - Master-Sashimi - 08-09-2017 Hello, This is my first attempt at actually trying to Rip models from a Game. I managed to get the CIA File for the Recent 3DS Release, Ever Oasis. I converted it and Exported it's contents. Only to find those said contents are all .GAR Files? What is this file format? I tried to open them in Ohana3DS. And Yeahhh...That didn't work. Is there a way to take this .GAR File type and convert it to proper readable files? Or are these .GAR Files totally useless?... If you know what to do, I can supply you with the .GAR Files. On a side note, there is also a romfs.bin File that packs 792,644 Kb Is this where the Model's and Textures, Etc are located? Is there a way I can open the Bin File and view the contents if there is any inside? It would be nice to see these Models ripped, They are pretty nice! Thanks. RE: Ever Oasis GAR Files and Bin Files? - z65536 - 08-09-2017 Ever Oasis's .GAR file is almost the same MM3D's .GAR file I modified N3DSCmbViewer It can extract .GAR file and 3d model but textures are missing and bones are messy RE: Ever Oasis GAR Files and Bin Files? - Master-Sashimi - 08-09-2017 (08-09-2017, 08:42 PM)z65536 Wrote: Ever Oasis's .GAR file is almost the same MM3D's .GAR file Ah, That is very interesting. ![]() I wonder how the Texture Files can be ripped? Hopefully There is also a way to recover the Bones too. This is certainly tricky, But it's interesting to see it share's traits with that game. I do see some of MM3D'S Models properly ripped. So At least I know it's possible now! Just still confused, But I should check out N3DSCmbViewer! Thanks for your feedback! ![]() RE: Ever Oasis GAR Files and Bin Files? - Master-Sashimi - 08-10-2017 (08-09-2017, 08:42 PM)z65536 Wrote: Ever Oasis's .GAR file is almost the same MM3D's .GAR file Update: I Tried using N3DSCmbViewer, It certainly recognizes the files, However nothing really shows up. Each .GAR File is only 5 - 100 or so KB In size, So maybe those .GAR Files aren't the exact ones... I notice there are no Models, Stages, Music Folders Etc, All Contents are located in a simple Folder called Data. Maybe they are just events or something... RE: Ever Oasis GAR Files and Bin Files? - z65536 - 08-10-2017 I forgot to attach the file lol https://mega.nz/#!bUQDGYgY!zYmmZvwytGmx9Fe7DJm4DTehOxhgOldUcvOSOvyF1sU RE: Ever Oasis GAR Files and Bin Files? - Master-Sashimi - 08-10-2017 (08-10-2017, 10:27 AM)z65536 Wrote: I forgot to attach the file lol ![]() Ah, Well That version you provided certainly helped! I can see inside the .GAR Folders now and Located the Model Files!...There just seems to be another problem though...I seem to get this error when I try to view the models. (Check Attachment) Rendering Disabled?... I feel like I am getting close for sure though!...Maybe? ![]() RE: Ever Oasis GAR Files and Bin Files? - z65536 - 08-10-2017 (08-10-2017, 06:08 PM)Master-Sashimi Wrote:Hmm... From the results I got, It is indeed possible to rip these! Only thing missing now are Textures and the Bones unfortunately... But It feels good getting this far! |
